The Hong Kong Logistics Association is continuing its efforts to engage the younger generation with the logistics industry’s development opportunities by hosting the “Logistics In Your Eyes” Short Film Competition 2024.

The Hong Kong Logistics Association has recruited schools to participate in the “Logistics In Your Eyes” Short Film Competition 2024. This event is fully supported by the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council and the Education Bureau’s “Business-School Partnership Programme.” It aims to allow students to explore one of Hong Kong’s four major economic pillars—trade and logistics—through film, enabling the younger generation to showcase their creativity and video production skills regarding the future of logistics.

The theme of this year’s competition is “Wisdom and Innovation,” targeted at students from Form 3 to Form 6 across Hong Kong. Participants can choose to cover a diverse range of topics related to the development, current status, and prospects of the logistics industry, encouraging them to express their understanding and perspectives through film. Winning teams will receive a total of $33,000 in prizes and trophies, inspiring more young people to pay attention to this vital industry in Hong Kong.

The introductory session was successfully held on September 25, with participation from over ten schools. Field visits to the Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminal, Cainiao Smart Port, and Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal were conducted on October 2 and 7, involving nearly a hundred teachers and students, allowing them to gain deeper insight into the actual operations of logistics.

The Hong Kong Logistics Association welcomes all Form 3 to Form 6 students to actively participate in the competition, with the registration deadline set for October 13. Participants can fill out the registration form through the following link: https://forms.gle/R33YJuJsTNRSP5fe8.

We look forward to inspiring students’ creativity through this competition and enhancing their understanding of the logistics industry, laying a solid foundation for their future careers.
