Hong Kong – September 15, 2025 – Ir. Elsa Yuen, President of the Hong Kong Logistics Association, shared her insights on key trends in the logistics industry at Rethink Hong Kong 2025 on September 12.

The two-day conference and expo served as a platform for advocating a just and sustainable transition, showcasing practical solutions to help drive Hong Kong toward a more resilient and environmentally responsible future.

President Ir. Elsa Yuen delivered the opening remarks on “Rethinking Logistics” and later presented in the afternoon session on “Empowering Logistics: Best Practices and Funding Opportunities.” Her presentations underscored the increasing importance of embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into logistics operations to enhance long-term sustainability and operational efficiency.

“Logistics today entails far more than simply moving goods from one point to another,” she noted. “It is a comprehensive process that integrates the full spectrum of supply chain management. To remain competitive and responsible, modern logistics must adopt best practices—particularly in ESG considerations—ensuring both operational sustainability and minimal environmental impact.”

Her remarks resonated strongly with the audience, reflecting the industry’s evolving landscape and the urgent need for alignment between logistics practices and environmental stewardship.
