The Transport and Housing Bureau has launched a Job Creation Scheme (“the Scheme”) for the Logistics Industry to hire recent university graduates and is open for application on 30 September 2020 to 30 December 2020 or until funding is exhausted. .
The Scheme aims to provide financial incentives for companies in the logistics industry to create logistics-related jobs to recruit university graduates, with a view to providing job opportunities for those who are interested in the industry amid the employment difficulties under the pandemic.
Under the Scheme, a monthly subsidy of $5,610 per eligible employee for a maximum duration of 18 months will be disbursed for eligible employers. Each eligible employer can apply for subsidy for a maximum of 5 positions.
