President’s Message

Dear Members,

Despite facing a critical situation in logistics field, I’m proud to report that we have a good record in 2022 and the surplus is major came from increasing membership, CCLP training income, purchasing the test-kit and restructure our manpower. Here below I would like to share with you some of the achievements in 2022.

Increasing Membership
This year we have increased 25% income due to the number of corporate member and professional member increasing.

LOGs Council Subsidy on CCLP Recognition
HKLA have developed our own training and certification program for Cold Chain Logistics Professional (CCLP) with Level 1-3 and we have successfully recruited over 200 logistics practitioners among of them are came from three terminal HACTL, AAT and CPSL also we have
qualified two trainers (cold storage). Though this program Hong Kong enhance its logistics hub function and connect with Greater Bay Area (GBA) for further development.

Purchase Test-kit for HKLA Member
The 5 th wave of COVID-19 struck Hong Kong in February, the demanding of test-kit were more serious, The Association help to source the local supplier for test-kit purchase for members. During these uncertain and unprecedented times, we still have gained best results in the last fiscal year 2022. This success would not be possible without the full supports from our members, Council members, Council Associates and administration staffs. Taking this opportunity, I wish to express my sincere thanks to all of you.
