Hong Kong’s NextGen Logistician Awards 2025 – CALL FOR NOMINATIONS!
The Hong Kong’s NextGen Logistician Awards 2025 is now open for nominations. Advocated by the HKSAR Government, supported by the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council, and co-organised by the Hong Kong Logistics Association and the Hong Kong Shippers’ Council, the Awards aim to recognise young talents in the logistics industry who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and potential. Through the success stories of the award winners, the initiative seeks to attract more young people to join the industry and contribute to its continued growth.
Highlights from the 2024 Event
In the inaugural Hong Kong’s NextGen Logistician Awards 2024, five exceptional young logistics professionals showcased their remarkable achievements, inspiring the entire industry. These awardees set new benchmarks through their outstanding performances in smart logistics, sustainability, and innovative solutions.
At the 2024 Awards Presentation Ceremony, Mr LIU Chun San, Under Secretary for Transport and Logistics, remarked that the flexibility and creativity of our logistics talents provide the indispensable driving force for promoting and enhancing Hong Kong’s status as an international logistics hub. He hoped that the younger generation would learn from the five awardees: dare to try, be steadfast and give back, and inject new energy into the logistics sector.
Ir. Elsa Yuen, President of the Hong Kong Logistics Association, also noted the need for fresh blood in the industry, bringing new technologies and ideas to enhance competitiveness. She stressed the importance of identifying and nurturing young professionals with exceptional potential in smart and green logistics.

Award Categories and Eligibility
The Hong Kong’s NextGen Logistician Awards 2025 features the following two award categories:
– Young Professional Award: Nominees must be at middle management level or
below and under the age of 35.
– Young Executive Award: Nominees must have joined the industry for at least 5 years and are working at senior management level, with their age being 45 or below.
Nominations must be submitted by companies or organizations registered in Hong Kong that are involved in the logistics-related business. A judging panel composed of senior management from renowned companies and representatives from academia will review the nominations to select deserving awardees.
Important Dates:
– Nominations Open: May 1, 2025
– Nomination Deadline: July 13, 2025
– Adjudication Period: July to September 2025
– Award Presentation Ceremony: November 18, 2025
