The 10th Logistics Case Competition and Workshop, organized by the Hong Kong Logistics Association, was successfully held and concluded from February 21 to 23, 2025, at the Po Leung Kuk Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp. This year’s competition attracted 11 student teams from various tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, including the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. The event aimed to enhance the innovative thinking and professional potential of the younger generation in the logistics field, nurturing talent for the industry’s future development.

The three-day event featured a packed schedule, including a visit to Yamato Logistics (HK) Ltd., where students gained firsthand insights into logistics operations, as well as workshops and presentation sessions. On the final day, the case competition saw teams presenting their proposals to a panel of industry expert judges through briefings.

The Hong Kong Logistics Association has been organizing the Logistics Case Competition and Workshop for over a decade. The event is designed to enhance students’ ability to address real-world challenges, fostering practical skills and techniques for solving business problems. Winning teams received certificates and medals, with the team achieving the “Best Effective Solution” also awarded a cash prize of $1,000 per member. Furthermore, if any award-winning students participate in the subsequent international case competition and workshop, all winners will receive an additional $1,000 cash reward per person to encourage them to showcase their talents on the global stage.
