HKLA organizes regular meetings and seminars which aims at providing a platform for sharing and enhancement of competition power. HKLA also assists tertiary institutes to organize courses aiming at enhancing management technology skills in logistics field. In meeting the needs of members and the field, HKLA puts the professionalization and training of the practitioners in the field as top mission. HKLA also proactively facilitate Hong Kong Government to promote Hong Kong as the Logistics Centre in the World and Asia Pacific. There are about 400 students take the courses that co-organize by the tertiary institutes and HKLA every year.

HKLA has also been invited by various organizations and government departments such as Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department, The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), Labour Department, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong Open University, Lingnan University, Ming Pao, DHL, General Education Unit of HKU, etc to hold seminars and training on logistics. HKLA also acts as logistics course adviser of various tertiary institutes.
